Scholarships and Funding
We understand that full time music students may find it hard to fund the total cost of the course. If you would like to apply for help with funding, here are some suggestions. We recommend that you explore as many different funding options as possible, as it is more likely that you may receive funding from different sources.
Apply to your college or university
Some music colleges and universities can be very generous with funding for deserving students. It is best to research these possibilities by early 2008 before money is allocated. Funding
Apply for other funding
We have compiled a list of external funding bodies that you can
apply to. We would strongly recommend that you apply for a number of
scholarships and that you start the process early to maximise your
possibility of success.

Apply to Chamber Music International
Chamber Musicians
Chamber Music International has a limited number of scholarships. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, you will need to write a short paragraph (maximum 250 words) explaining why you deserve funding, and send this in along with your application and deposit of £50, by WEDNESDAY APRIL 30th. If you are an established ensemble, you may also apply for group funding, in which case your representative member will need to write a funding request on behalf of the ensemble. If your application is not received by the deadline, your chances of receiving funding may be jeopardised.
